Creating Repeat Patterns: Repeat Size

ENHANCED in SymmetryMill 2
A pattern’s repeat size changes automatically when you choose another symmetry. Once the symmetry is set, you can adjust the repeat size by moving anchors or sides of the control path. When you do that, the repeat size is displayed in the upper-left corner of the Source Image window.

Hover the mouse pointer over the control path to display the pattern’s repeat size.
When you hover the mouse pointer over the anchors and sides of the control path, SymmetryMill guides you by providing helpful cursors.
You can export the exact repeat rectangle that corresponds to the displayed repeat size by clicking the Export Pattern button in the SymmetryMill toolbar and choosing the Tile option in the Component popup menu.
