When sharing, you have an option to keep all rights to your patterns or allow their free
distribution and reuse under the conditions you specify. Creative Commons Attribution licenses
let you simply and conveniently accomplish the latter.
Click the Add details button in the Share dialog to access the Copyright popup menu.
The two most popular Creative Commons licenses are available in the
Copyright popup menu in the Share Share dialog. They are:
Using the Copyright menu, the Copyright notice field, and the Copyright info URL field,
you can craft a more specific set of permissions that is best suitable for your needs.
Creative Commons Attribution license (CC BY),
which gives permission for others to copy, distribute, modify, and make commercial use of of your work,
provided that you are credited as its author.
Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license (CC BY-SA),
which gives the same rights, but only as long as others distribute derivatives under the same or similar
license.
